In this episode we talked to Jen Tow, IBCLC, LMT and CSOM. Jen has a passion for guiding parents in raising children holistically for 25 years. In this episode we explore the medicalization of childbirth and breastfeeding, epigenetics and its impact in child development and our connection with nature. We discussed environmental toxicity, genetic mutations, trauma and how this imprinted in our DNA for generations. Through her experience, Jen shares her thoughts on what has gone wrong with the institutionalization of the birthing process and what we can do to support healthy and natural human development from conception and beyond.
